Perfect Pasty Pastry Recipe

This pastry recipe is perfect for all types of pasty recipes.

It is simple to make and rolls out easily. You will love the taste of a pasty cooked with Jeenas pasty pastry recipe.

This recipe uses no butter or hard fats so it is a healthier option for a pie or pasty yet has fantastic pastry flavour and texture.

For best results when cooking a pasty, take the pasty out about 10 minutes before it is fully cooked and brush with a little rapeseed oil (vegetable oil).

Cook pasties at 220C for great results using this pasty pastry recipe.

Ingredients for Perfect Pasty Pastry Recipe
2 Large Cups Plain Flour
2 Tbsp Rapeseed Oil (vegetable oil)
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Sunflower Margarine
Cold Water

How to make perfect pasty pastry

Rub both fats and salt into the plain flour.

Add enough cold water a little at a time until the pastry mixture forms a dough.

Use straight away to bake delicious pasties.

Hi, I used this recipe with gluten free flour and grated in a little cheese, worked very well. Was quick and easy.
