Dairy Free Vegan Toffee Sauce Recipe

My dairy free vegan toffee sauce recipe is such a fabulous accompaniment to any vegan sweet or dessert recipe.

It contains no butter, cows milk or cream yet it tastes fantastic and is far healthier to indulge in than toffee sauce that uses dairy.

You do not need a thermometer to cook this toffee recipe as it is a thick sauce you want to produce not a hard toffee or a fudge.

Follow my step by step toffee sauce recipe and enjoy this wonderful sweet vegan treat.

Ingredients for Dairy Free Toffee Sauce Recipe

6oz Light brown muscovado sugar
6oz Sunflower margarine
200ml Soya milk

How to make a Dairy Free Toffee Sauce

Place all ingredients into a deep based pan.

On a medium heat bring to the boil.

Once the ingredients have melted down at a boiling point reduce the heat until you get a steady simmer.

You want to sauce to boil at a simmer but not so it starts to over flow the pan.

Stir frequently for 30-40 minutes.

The toffee sauce will then froth more and darken in colour.

Stir constant for 5 minutes.
Take off the heat and pour into a dish.

Leave to cool then cover and refrigerate.

Use as needed.

You can use Chef Jeenas vegan toffee sauce recipe in baking, desserts, as an accompaniment or as an ingredients for all sweet recipes.

Enjoy.

I love the flavor of toffee and can only imagine how yummy it is in a sauce. Where do you get the inspiration from for these great recipes??
