How to Make Rye Bread Dough

My delicious rye bread dough recipe can be used in many different recipes from pizza recipes to pitta bread recipes and much more.

This rye bread dough recipe is not only healthy because of the rye and wholewheat flours, but it is also very healthy due to the flax seed powder I add to the dough for an extra healthy bonus and slightly nutty undertone in flavour.

You can click here for health benefits of flax seeds to read about how healthy flax seeds are and also the benefits of omega oils.

My rye bread dough is easy to quick and easy to make with the best health benefits.

Ingredients for Jeenas Healthy Rye Dough
4oz Rye Flour
10oz Wholewheat/Wholemeal Flour
1 + 1/2 tsp Sugar
1/2 - 1 tsp Salt

2oz Ground Flax Seed
Warm Water

How to Make Rye Bread Dough

In a large bowl mix rye flour, wholewheat flour, olive oil, yeast, sugar and salt with a few drops of warm water.

Just as the dough starts to come together add the flax seed powder.

Keep adding enough warm water to form a bread dough.

Knead for 5 minutes.

Cover and leave in a warm place for 30 minutes to an hour or until the rye dough has doubled in size.

Take rye bread dough onto a clean floured surface and use as desired.
