Step-by-Step Onion Bhaji Video Recipe: Chef Jeena.

See the step-by-step onion bhaji photo tutorial guide to this recipe.

Chef has been busy again in Jeenas kitchen with the video camera.

This time you can now watch me cook our popular oven baked onion bhaji recipe. If you have never cooked onion bhaji then we are sure you will enjoy the taste; if you love spice and onion.

Bhaji is an indian dish; a type of pakora. This is indian and Pakistani cuisine that is found in Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka. This tasty dish is very popular to eat as a side dish with curry. In the UK you will find this dish as a starter in many restaurants and takeaways, the British love the taste of the bhaji.

During Ramadan, the month of fasting, pakoras are often eaten by Muslims during Iftar (the evening meal to break the fast).

Among the Muslim Cape Malays of South Africa, (onion bhaji) pakoras are known as dhaltjies, and are usually eaten as an appetizer during Iftar, or as appetizers for weddings, births, or similar occasions.

You can also cook other types of bhaji too instead of onion, like mushroom and potato.

Chef cooks this tasty Asain food recipe in the oven to make them more healthy as they use less oil, they taste wonderful and are so good for you. The traditional way to cook the bhaji is by deep frying.

You will find this step by step video recipe easy to follow.

If you like the taste of indian food and have never cooked this dish then do make sure you try this recipe as you will love the taste of the onion bhaji.
