Beef and Pepper Penne Pasta Recipe

How to cook easy penne pasta sauce recipe.

Personally I love the taste of tomatoes but much to my amazement I have a friend who loves pasta dishes but is not too keen on the taste of too much tomatoes; So Jeena has come to the rescue and come up with a dish to solve this problem.

I do recommend this recipe to absolutely anyone that loves the taste of penne pasta as this is a dish that will be sending you back to the kitchen for more !

I use minced beef, bell peppers and dried herbs and paprika in this tasty delicious pasta recipe, it was absolutely wonderful.

I served the pasta with freshly grated Parmisan cheese and fresh crispy french bread.

Ingredients for Jeenas Beef Penne Pasta Recipe


1 Pack Lean Minced Beef
1/2 Yellow Pepper/Capsicum (diced)
1/2 Red Pepper/Capsicum (diced)
1/2 Green Pepper/Capsicum (diced)
1 Onion (diced)
5 Mushrooms (diced)
2 Carrots (sliced then chopped)
2 Tomatoes (diced)
4-5 Mushroom (diced)
2 Garlic Cloves (crushed)
Pinch Dried Jalapenos
Pinch Dried Chives
Pinch Dried Basil
1 tsp Paprika
Salt and Pepper
Olive Oil
5 Tbsp Water
Few Drops Worcestershire Sauce
Penne Pasta

How to cook Jeenas Beef and Pepper Penne Pasta Recipe

Gently simmer the onions for a few minutes.

Add carrots, stir well and keep simmering.



When the carrots and onions start to slightly soften add the tomatoes, keep simmering and stiring frequently.



Add the peppers.




Add all the dried herbs and garlic mix well then add the paprika.

Keep simmering.



Add the beef and chop at the meat with your spatula.



Add a few drops of Worcester sauce and salt to season.

Stir well and chop at the mince.



Add 5 Tablespoons of water , stir well then cover with a lid and simmer for 8-10 minutes.



Take the lid off and add the mushrooms, cook for 4-5 minutes.

You can add mushrooms before you place the lid on if desired.



Your delicious beef penne pasta recipe is now ready to eat.



Stir through cooked penne pasta and serve with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh crispy bread.
